Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions to the VillaDesk application at app.villadesk.in (the "service") work — how to cancel, what happens to your access and data, and when refunds apply. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In this policy, "VillaDesk", "we", "us", and "our" mean LOQALADS MEDIA PVT LTD.
Our promise is simple: no lock-in. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access for the period you have already paid for.
1. The 14-day free trial
Every account starts with a 14-day free trial. No card or payment details are required to begin, and nothing is charged during the trial. If you do not start a paid subscription, the trial simply ends — you are never charged automatically, and there is nothing to cancel. You may stop using the service at any time during the trial without cost or obligation.
2. Subscriptions & billing
After the trial, continued use of the service requires a paid subscription, payable by UPI. You choose a monthly or annual billing cycle; annual billing is offered at a discount to monthly. Because payment is made by UPI rather than a stored card, there is no silent auto-charge to a card on file — each renewal is a payment you make. Any add-ons (for example, extra villas or rooms, or additional auto-messages) are billed as described on our pricing page for the period in which they are used.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time, in either of these ways:
- from within the application, under your account or billing settings; or
- by writing to us at admin@loqalads.in or messaging us on WhatsApp with your account details and a request to cancel.
When you cancel, you continue to have full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, the subscription will not renew, and the account moves to a limited or closed state. There are no cancellation fees and no penalty for leaving.
4. Refunds
Because we offer a full 14-day free trial before any payment, we encourage you to evaluate the service thoroughly before subscribing. As a general rule, and except where a refund is required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for any unused portion of a billing period — instead, you keep access until that period ends.
As a goodwill matter, and at our discretion:
- Annual plans — 7-day cooling-off. If you cancel within seven (7) days of an annual payment and have made only minimal use of the service in that time, you may request a full refund of that annual fee. We may decline where we reasonably suspect abuse of this provision.
- Monthly plans. Monthly fees are non-refundable once the period has begun; you keep access until the end of that month and are not billed again.
- Add-ons and one-time charges (such as extra-room blocks or white-glove onboarding) are non-refundable once provided or activated.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
5. Failed, duplicate, or incorrect payments
UPI payments are made directly by you. If a payment fails but money is debited, or you are charged twice for the same period, or you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at admin@loqalads.in within a reasonable time with the transaction details. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be reversed or refunded to the original payment method.
6. Your data after cancellation
Your data stays yours. You can export your bookings and revenue (for example, to Excel) at any time while your subscription is active, and we encourage you to do so before cancelling. After cancellation, your data is retained for a limited period to allow reactivation and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised in line with our Privacy Policy. You may ask us to delete your account data sooner, subject to any records we are required by law to keep.
7. Changes to your plan
You can move between plans or segments (Villa, Homestay, Hotel) at any time; your data comes with you. When you upgrade, the change applies going forward. Downgrades take effect from your next billing period, and any plan limits (such as the number of villas or rooms) apply from that point.
8. Suspension by us
We may suspend or terminate access as described in our Terms of Service — for example, for non-payment or breach of those Terms. Where we terminate an account for cause, fees already paid are non-refundable.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
