Privacy Policy

VillaDesk ("the app", "we", "us") is a guest CRM for villa and homestay operators, made by LoqalAds Media Private Limited, Pune, India. This policy explains what information VillaDesk handles, why, and the controls you have over it. It applies to the VillaDesk web app at app.villadesk.in and the VillaDesk apps distributed through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, which are the same application.
What we collect
Your account. Your name and mobile phone number — the phone number is your login identity, verified by a one-time password (OTP). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; we cannot read them.
Your business profile. Optionally: your business name, address, GSTIN, UPI ID (used to generate payment links to your account), a logo, and property photos you upload. These appear on the quotes and invoices the app generates for you.
The CRM data you enter. Guest and agent names and phone numbers, stay dates, booking and payment amounts, notes, and similar records you create to run your business. You control this data; we store it so the app works.
Messages. The WhatsApp conversation history between your business and your guests is stored so your team inbox works.
Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, request time, errors), kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't collect
No location tracking. No access to your contacts, camera roll, or files beyond the photos you choose to upload. No advertising identifiers and no ads. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. No card or banking details — VillaDesk never holds funds; payment links simply open your guest's own UPI app pointed at your UPI ID.
How we use information
Solely to provide the service: showing your dashboard, generating quotes and invoices, sending the booking-lifecycle messages you configure, and producing your reports. We do not sell or rent any data, and we do not use your data — or your guests' data — for advertising or to train AI models.
Guest information
Guests' details are entered by the villa operator, who remains responsible for them under applicable law; VillaDesk processes them on the operator's behalf. If you are a guest and want your details corrected or removed, contact the property you booked with, or email us at admin@loqalads.in and we will assist.
When information is shared
We share data only with the service providers needed to run VillaDesk, acting on our instructions:
- Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) — only if your business opts in to automatic sending through a connected WhatsApp Business account; the message content and recipient number are transmitted to Meta for delivery. In the default "copy-ready" mode, nothing is shared — you send messages from your own phone.
- MSG91 — delivers the SMS one-time passwords used for sign-in.
- Microsoft Azure (application hosting) and Neon (database hosting) — the infrastructure the service runs on.
We never sell data, never share it for advertising, and disclose it otherwise only if required by law.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to production systems is restricted, passwords are hashed, and caretaker logins can be scoped to specific properties with guest phone numbers masked.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time, yourself:
- In the app: Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account (confirm by typing your business name).
- On the web: instructions at app.villadesk.in/delete-account.
- By email: write to admin@loqalads.in from your registered details.
Deletion is immediate, complete, and irreversible: your business profile, properties, bookings, leads, conversations, invoices, uploaded images, and every staff login are permanently removed. There is no retention window and no backup restore of deleted accounts.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may raise a grievance about how it is handled. Email admin@loqalads.in; we respond within 30 days.
Children
VillaDesk is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new effective date here and inform account holders in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
